    FOUNDER, DIRECTOR, DRUM TEACHER.

    With over 10 years of teaching experience and over 30 years of playing the drums, Zac has developed a true art for teaching and conveying musical ideas to students of all ages with joy and unmatched energy.

  • NATHANAEL SHERMAN

    VOCALS, GUITAR, BASS TEACHER.

    Nathanael is a powerhouse of knowledge and skill. with most of his life as a musician, song writer, performer and educator, Nathanael meets his students where they’re at with clarity, kindness and a genuine passion for music education.

  • TAYLOR MCDONAL

    DRUM TEACHER

    With years of on stage experience, Taylor knows exactly what it means to serve the greater good of the music. With his teaching, he strives and succeeds in delivering the same amount of passion and outcome as he does on stage. He loves to walk alongside his students in their musical journey and champions them with authentic joy.

BTN began in 2015 as a solo mission. Zac Gauthier from Kelowna started a humble drum teaching business out of an old portable from a school that was happy to hear the noise!

As the years progressed, Zac moved locations and added more community focus to his teaching, offering monthly connections outside of private lessons. In 2018, he rebranded to Bring The Noise Drum Academy and decided to make the bold move to Group Drum Sessions. This was the perfect move to put even more focus on community and to add more value to the families. in 2024, the school rebranded once more to Bring The Noise Music Academy, a school focused on Loving and Valuing People Through The Pure Joy of Music.

BTN offers exceptional group and private music lessons for Drums, Vocals, Guitar, Bass and so much more to come.
