A Special Night of Music at Cantina Del Centro!

Back in mid-December, something really special happened for our vocal students.

Our vocal coach Nathanael Sherman hosted his very first BTN Mini Concert at Cantina Del Centro in downtown Kelowna — and it turned out to be an incredible night of music, courage, and community.

For many of Nathanael’s students, this was their first time performing live in front of an audience. Stepping onto a stage can be intimidating, but every single student rose to the occasion. One by one, they got up, took a deep breath, and delivered performances that were heartfelt, confident, and genuinely impressive.

The room was packed with supportive family, friends, and BTN community members, and the audience couldn’t have been more encouraging. You could feel the energy in the room as each performer finished their song and was met with enthusiastic applause. It was one of those nights where you’re reminded how powerful music can be — not just as a skill, but as a way for people to express themselves and connect with others.

For Nathanael, it was also a huge milestone. Hosting his first student concert is no small task, and he did an amazing job creating a safe, supportive, and exciting environment for his singers to shine.

Events like this are a big part of what we believe in at Bring The Noise Music Academy. Learning music is about more than practicing scales or learning songs — it’s about building confidence, stepping outside of your comfort zone, and sharing something meaningful with others.

To everyone who performed: you absolutely crushed it.

And to all the families and friends who came out to support the students — thank you for helping make it such a memorable night.

Below are a few photos from the evening.
