THE 2026, 11TH ANNUAL BTN RECITAL!
Every year for the past 11 years, BTN Music Academy has brought students, families, and friends together for an unforgettable year-end celebration. It's hard to believe we've now been doing this for over a decade. Every year I challenge myself—and our team—to create a show that tops the one before it. On June 26th at Metro Hub in downtown Kelowna, I think it's safe to say we brought the noise once again.
With more than 35 performances throughout the evening, the addition of our growing piano program, and several incredible band performances, this year's recital was packed with energy from beginning to end. Our goal has always been simple: make every student who steps on that stage feel like a rock star.
Of course, putting on a production of this size is never without its challenges. Live events come with technical hiccups, audio and visual surprises, and countless moving parts. To everyone who continues to attend our recitals year after year, thank you. Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for helping create such an incredible atmosphere as our shows continue to grow bigger every year.
To our amazing students, thank you for the countless hours of practice, dedication, and courage it took to perform. Watching you step onto that stage with confidence and heart is what makes all of this worthwhile.
Finally, a sincere and heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers. Whether you helped with ticketing, merchandise, concessions, setup, teardown, cleanup, or keeping the green room running smoothly, this event simply would not have happened without you. Your generosity, hard work, and willingness to serve never go unnoticed, and I am deeply grateful for each and every one of you.
